這部謀殺謎案劇根據(jù)Giles Blunt所著的John Cardinal謎案系列小說(shuō)第一部《Forty Words For Sorrow》改編，講述了Campbell飾演的智慧、沉著、固執(zhí)的偵探John Cardinal，他來(lái)自阿岡昆灣的北部城市，身上背負(fù)著多年的多年的冤屈。Vanasse飾演Cardinal的搭檔Lise Delorme，她是一個(gè)精明堅(jiān)強(qiáng)、富有想象力和天生調(diào)查偵探才能的女人。本劇將在CTV的2016-2017時(shí)間段播出，最早將會(huì)在2016年2月開(kāi)始制作拍攝。
